Description
Gaia, the earth goddess, is one of the first gods appeared the original chaos. The first born of the siblings was Nyx, the night, followed closely by her sister Gaia, the Earth, and their three brothers, Erebus, darkness, Tartarus, Eros and the world Souterain, gravitation. It is also the mother of several gods.
STORY:
Gaia is the second daughter of Chaos, it can therefore be created without the participation of a male. On its own, Gaia gave birth first Ouranos, the sky, and then the two gods embodying the primordial sea and barren: Pontos, the flood and her twin sister Tiamat, high water. Gaia imposed itself quickly like wanting to rule the world, even though she had little control over his brother Erebus, and even less about his sister Nyx. However, they started back and remained neutral. But careful, Gaia chose to put his son on the throne Uranus, pulling the strings in the background, especially with the invaluable assistance of Eros. She also appealed to the Kairos god, offering to become the time of this new era. Gaia had first united with Uranus and gave birth to Hecatonchires, the Cyclopes and Titans, then with his son Pontos, giving birth to the Titans Seas. Over the centuries, Uranus became a tyrant who monopolized power at the expense of Gaia. Cronos, hating most of all the tyranny and injustice, agreed to fight Uranus, but his older brother, Oceanus, who was the wisest of the Titans earned the ride of his mother and put Cronos guard against it. With weapons that gave her Gaia, the Mégadrepadon, Cronos terrassa Uranus and became the new king of the gods. But Gaia does not stop there. Furious, she said, by way of Ouranos, a curse on his son to punish him for having monopolized the power that was intended for him and swore to destroy him and those he loves. This curse under that Cronos is also killed by his children. Gaia centuries again later managed to pervert the youngest, Zeus. Through him, she did the same for her siblings. Under the control of the Goddess of the Earth, gods youth declared war against their father, with the support of Gaia and the Titans began.
This war ended with the victory of the gods. But a new war began centuries again later. Because Gaia was again cheated by one she had achieved victory. She then created a colossal monster, the giant Typhon and made up from the depths of the Earth Giants from the blood of Uranus. Thus began the Gigantomachia! With this army, wanted revenge Gaia young Cronide. But the gods of Olympus parvirent defeat the giants and after was defeated by Zeus, Typhon was imprisoned by Hades and Athena (while allies) under Mount Etna in Sicily.

PERSONALITY:
Although goddess embodying the Earth, Gaia is a cruel goddess, cold and hungry for power, so that it does not hesitate to manipulate his family and his descendants to get it. She feels no affection for that whatsoever, not even to Uranus though it was her husband or his siblings. Despite of his personality, Pontos is the only god to be completely loyal to him.
His only dream is to eradicate all life on Earth (humans, animals and gods) to make it his personal paradise.
Although being a prisoner of his fountain, his hatred for the Olympians and contempt for everything that life did not diminish over the centuries and is looking forward to the day of his release.
